Designed for my daughter Iona and her growing love of animals & nature, in collaboration with illustrator Kate Slater.

Inspired by a visit to Glasgow Botanic Gardens glasshouses, home to the most fabulous tropical plants and palms. I loved the scale of the leaves and ferns, it made me feel tiny standing next to them. Being inside the glasshouses transported me to a tropical climate. I wanted to bring a little bit of this botanical vibe into the home, along with the idea of a paradise sky inspired by sunsets. Kate has illustrated the most beautiful heron alongside a kingfisher, butterflies and dragonflies.

We hope this fun, nature inspired mural can help to add a playful, outdoor scene whether enjoyed for a nursery, playroom or grown up wall.
