Photographing Scotland in Rainbow Colours
Any excuse and I'm out there in the photogenic colourful landscapes of Scotland with my trusty Nikon wrapped around my neck and purple wellies on my feet. Scotland is an abundance of colour throughout any season it seems. I'm so inspired by this rustic, authentic and vibrant countryside colour palette which I'm so lucky to have on my doorstep. Scotland's landscapes act as such a strong source of inspiration for many Scottish artists and designers across the country.Scotland in ColourAnd so it was as a result of a recent photography trip to Scotland's rich heather covered Lammermuir hills to photography my Mairi Helena Silk Scarves, that inspired me to create a blog post entitled:

The ultimate best way to unwind as I discovered earlier this Summer.YELLOWBlazing Scottish GorseThink Yellow, Think Gorse! I certainly do anyway as it reminds me of our wedding day with the striking yellow gorse blazing across the Eildon Hills in Melrose, Scottish Borders.
