How to add statement colour into your home with Mairi Helena designer velvet cushions

Adding pattern and colour into your home is such a rewarding & uplifting thing to do. Add a simple splash of colour with a statement design cushion and suddenly you have created yourself eye candy for the sofa!I'd love to share with you some photographs that I've taken of my Mairi Helena Velvet Feather Cushions and hope that it sparks  some ideas on how to style my cushions in your own home!Mairi Helena Grey Tailor Thistle Velvet Cushion My Mairi Helena Grey Tailor Thistle velvet cushion takes inspiration from Scottish thistles, the meandering purple carpets of heather moors as well as a warm hint of yellow gorse. I therefore love to see my Grey Tailor Thistle cushion being styled alongside inviting yellows, warm camel greys and soft whites.

Mairi Helena Emerald Thistle Velvet Cushion My Mairi Helena Emerald Thistle cushion is inspired by the brilliant blue Inner Hebridean seas as well as sea harbour nets found along coast lines. I love seeing this burst of blue being set off against contrasting colours such as this beautiful orange of this stylish Jonathan Adler chair..
