I’m so grateful to see my wallpapers in a variety of independent businesses across Scotland, from cafés to B&Bs. They’re a talking point for their vibrancy and connection to our landscape, adding just the right amount of personality and character to any space. They also help create an Instagram-worthy interior, which customers love to share online.Seeing my work in these commercial settings has inspired me to offer a bespoke design service. Rather than utilising preconceived designs that are widely available, imagine if your business had its own, completely unique pattern? Inspired by the surrounding area, or perhaps from the branding palette, I’m excited about what form these projects could take. Located in the picturesque Earlish on the Isle of Skye, Abhaig Boutique B&B is close to many of the must-see destinations the island, such as The Fairy Glen, The Quiraing, The Old Man of Storr and The Kilt Rock Waterfall. The An Bothan Dubh is a recent addition to the B&B’s offering, and is a detached suite that is separate from the main house. The Bonnie Badger is a charming restaurant with rooms in the heart of East Lothian. Celebrating Scottish artisan food and highlighting local craftsmanship, it’s an ideal place to showcase my wallpapers. Located on Turrif’s high street, The Rustic Grill is a cosy diner featuring the perfect blend of traditional and modern food. They showcase a great selection of locally-sourced ingredients, paired with a rustic, homely interior so you can sit back and relax as you enjoy your meal. Using my Bronze Flush Wallcovering, they’ve created this feature wall which adds a lovely warmth to their already beautiful interior.
