Brightly colourful Mairi Helena Luxury Velvet Feather Cushions for the Sofa
Last week I attended a fab colour workshop during Clerkenwell Design Week by Disegno Daily hosted by Arper which focused on 'The Colour Theory' researched by Johannes Itten. You may all well know that colour can very much be used to highlight an interior space and help draw attention in different ways. It was so inspiring to hear how colour can subconsciously affect our mood. Take these thoughts on the application of colour in interiors for instance:Red can be as powerful as blackYellow remind us of the sun and happy summer days Green interestingly is a colour you can spend time in the longest We become lost in hues of blue, it's calming as it reminds us of the trusty blue skies above OUTDOOR SPACESIt's lovely when interiors can extend out into the exterior. Writing this sentence makes me think of large french doors opening onto a patio, an immediate route from indoor to out. Living in an upstairs flat, unfortunately I don't have this luxury! But I like to improvise and seek out a secluded spot in which to set up a little garden party, bringing the interiors outdoors, even if this means setting the table at the beach!
