Introducing 6 luxury velvet fabrics for your home
There’s been a lot of focus on colour and colour trends in the interior world recently which I have been finding fascinating, being a lover of interiors and colour fanatic myself.
As part of it's annual Colour future trends forecast,
announced their colour of the year for 2017 earlier this week 'Denim Drift', which I just love!!
It oozes sophistication, clarity, a modern edge, style…need I say more.
My mind has been spinning along the colour wheel these last few weeks as we’ve been gearing up towards our showcase at Top Drawer London. We are exhibiting our collection of bold velvet cushions, lampshades, velvet fabrics, feature wallpapers and silk scarves at London Olympia between 11th - 13th September and we’re really looking forward to the event.
*We can be found at
stand SP201
within the
‘Spotted’
section which represents 30 emerging designers showcasing new labels to the retail world *
We are introducing our thistle inspired designs for London Design Week and we can’t wait to display our Scottish inspired interior collection.
And so I thought I would take the opportunity to introduce to you our new velvet fabric collection which includes six different designs.
Golden Blush Thistle
Mixing blushing crimsons with striking golds, our ‘Golden Blush’ velvet fabric looks to provide a vibrant burst of hues into your interiors. ‘Adding a touch of modern Scotland'
Fire Thistle
Influenced by rusty metallic tones found along Scotland’s Fife Coast, Fire Thistle draws together a passion for turning up the heat with the designer’s pen!
Summer Thistle
A tropical take on Scotland’s lush environment
Fine Art Pink Thistle
Where the Mairi Helena story began. Interpreting Scotland’s flora, fauna and textures in an abstract light. Seen above on our Mairi Helena chair as featured in our
Emerald Thistle
A design along the more muted route (muted for Mairi Helena designs anyway!!)
Cobalt Blue Thistle
Flashing Scotland’s iconic purple thistle heads against bold blues.

We think they all work well against a DuluX DENIM DRIFT wall, do you?
We’d love to know what you think!
