New 'Hidden Garden' Wallpaper Reveal!

I’m very excited to introduce my Hidden Garden wallpaper! It’s the first in a series of new wallpapers, the designs of which I will be releasing individually over the course of the year, from my new collection ‘Back to Nature’.

Mairi Helena Hidden Garden Wallpaper: A design inspired by travels closer to home….

During this turbulent year of unknowns, what’s struck me is how aware I’ve become of the seasons. Spending time outside has been a tonic to an otherwise frustrating time. We’ve been forced to take a slower pace of life and enjoy the tranquility of the great outdoors.
And so my new collection is based on the idea of bringing the escapism of the outdoors in.

Hidden Garden takes inspiration from the wonderful meadow garden I discovered last year at The Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh. The Botanic Gardens have become a place of escape for me here in the city, visiting often with Iona to smell the lavender and spot butterflies amongst the poppies. The design also takes inspiration from a trip to Preston Hall Estate, a hidden gem of a garden we visited last summer on the outskirts of Edinburgh, with its abundant fruit trees and wonderful greenhouse.

I really hope my new Hidden Garden wallpaper brings you all the uplifting colours and hope of the summer season ahead.
