My return photography trip to the wonderfully beautiful Isle of Iona
After a fantastic trip to the gorgeous Isle of Iona last October, I was absolutely delighted to be asked back for another photography photoshoot adventure earlier in August this year. Iona is truly beautiful and really is a photographers dream.Unspoilt. Turquoise seas. Sweeping beaches. Sunset skies. Blissful calmness. I could go on...I was back to photograph the gorgeous Sound of Iona tartan created by islander Sheila Grant. It was a delight to see the tartan accessories and gifts feature strongly at Martyr's Bay Gift Shop and Restaurant and to see my imagery of the tartan represent the brand. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to re-trace our steps on the island as well as venture onto new pathways, hill tops, fields and shore lines to find new places for our photo shoot. The weather was truly spectaular, with wonderful red skies at night and warm beating sun during the day. I of course, had my trusty assistant - (my wonderfully supportive hubby!) to help me with the extremely important reflector holding, log lifting and equipment carrying - what would I do without him?! It was brilliant to see the development of the Sound of Iona range to now include exquisite hand painted porcelain, gorgeous new rugs and delicate jewellery. Iona now holds a special place in my heart. If you are looking for product photography for your business, whether that be fashion photography for knitwear or textiles, product photography for eCommerce, commercial photography for advertising and marketing, then please do get in touch! I would love to hear from you.
